**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**This role is a Permanent Full-Time position based at the Appin mine, near the coastal city of Wollongong, NSW and approximately 75 kilometres southwest of Sydney.**

As the Electrical Maintenance Coordinator for the Development team, you will be responsible for the safe execution of maintenance and to ensure the Development Maintenance and Production team is set-up for success against business priorities.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

- Lead and monitor the safe planning and execution of maintenance for Development mining equipment
- Provide technical support to Maintainers and Supervisors for electrical fault finding and maintenance
- Contribute to forecasting and scheduling of maintenance activities and projects
- Ensure execution activities are conducted safely and cost effectively by competent personnel
- Complete daily and weekly reviews of area performance for maintenance activities and equipment performance, determining actions to deliver the Weekly Plan

**ABOUT YOU**

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

- Prior experience working at an underground coal mine
- Proficiency in fault-finding of electrical equipment
- Knowledge of Electrical Equipment in hazardous areas (desirable)
- Proven ability as a self-starter; able to prioritise workload and complete activities within time frames allocated
- Demonstrated ability to contribute, influence and make decisions within multi-functional teams

Qualifications for this position are:

- Trade Certificate, Degree or Associate Diploma in a relevant Electrical Engineering field
