**What is the role?**

You will work as an Investment Operations Analyst, working within a small team, responsible for trade settlement, unit pricing oversight, corporate actions and maintaining the quality and accuracy of data across trading and operational systems.

Within this role, you will also be responsible for:

- Actively confirm all of equity, FX and derivatives trades and communicating trade information to relevant stakeholders
- Consistently work with brokers, counterparties, and custodians to resolve trade settlement issues
- Review portfolio valuation and unit prices received from fund administrators
- Ensure that information entered the trading and other operational systems are timely and accurate
- Work with the team to manage and elect on corporate actions
- Maintain and create procedural documentation for BAU activities
- Work as part of the team with stakeholders on set up and transition of Funds/portfolios
- Maintain the corporate action system

**What skills do I need for the role?**

You have a strong knowledge of the equity trade cycle, with excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. You are a hard worker and have experience working in a busy, fast paced, and dynamic environment.

You also have:

- At least 3-5 years of experience within a similar role (investment management operations, fund administration or audit experience).
- Working experience with SQL and/or VBA (preferred).
- Strong understanding of equity, FX and derivative trades.
- Excellent technical ability
- Ability to take ownership and accountability for your work.
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline desirable (Business, Finance, Economics etc.)
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
