MARS Recruitment is partnered with an Australian leading fund manager which holds an excellent reputation in the local market. Due to steady growth and success they are looking for an additional Investment Operations Analyst, to support with split responsibilities across the Trade Operations & Fund Accounting teams in their Sydney office.

This role would suit an individual that is interested and passionate about joining an investment manager that is focusing on Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). The Investment Operations Analyst, will support with middle office operational tasks, whilst also assisting with current projects and process improvements.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

- Trade management of ETFs
- Reconciliations of stock and cash statements
- Review of NAVs and investigation of NAV breaks
- OTC collateral management (futures, exchange traded options, total return swaps)
- Research and processing of Corporate Actions
- Assist in projects, initiatives and operational improvements

Essential criteria:

- A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience within a financial services or accounting institution
- Previous investment manager, custody, fund administrator experience highly regarded
- Excellent communicate skills and can-do attitude
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Tertiary qualified, preferably in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
