**About the role**
We are looking for an experienced **Functional Analyst **to support one of our public housing client in the development of an online portal to better serve their customers. The role will include affecting changes to the organizations business systems to improve the Renter experience by allowing better integration with head contractors.
Our client has now made a hybrid return to office. You must be available for on-site work in the Melbourne CBD at least three days per week with up-to-date Covid-19 vaccination status.
This is an excellent 12 months opportunity with the possibility of extensions.
**About you**
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Support the design, development and implementation of the online portal and associated APIs.
- Assist with requirement gathering and documentation
- Assist with the development of target state process maps.
- Assist with the development of test plans, test scenarios and test cases
- Assist with the development of change management artefacts as required.
- Assist with change management activities as required.
- Assist the Program manager with Project management and governance activities as required.
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 3 years of proven system solution analytical experience.
- Proven experience in Agile delivery as a business/functional Analyst.
- Extensive experience with documenting business requirements and functional design through user stories, wireframes, screen mock-ups, etc.
- Experience in negotiating with users, technical staff and product owners to achieve desired outcomes.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to lead workshops and work directly with solution stakeholders.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and provide leadership in your area of expertise.
- Negotiate, and resolve problems, challenging opinions where necessary to achieve quality solutions.
- Experience in undertaking process re-engineering, including capturing business process as-is and to-be states in process flows.
- A background in Health and/or Government is highly desirable
- Experience in System integration specifications.
- Experience in showcasing system solutions and assisting with User Acceptance Testing.
- Experience in Angular and Drupal is desired.
- Experience in data analysis and advanced Excel and SQL capabilities is desired.
