**About Us**:
At the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC), our primary responsibility is to provide support and guidance to the Premier and Cabinet to effectively deliver on the government's priorities, commitments, decisions, and objectives for the betterment of the community.
Events and Policy Coordination is responsible for the coordination and development of Ministerial and Executive Services Event Briefing Packs. The team works directly with the Premier's Office and works in partnership with other government agencies and external organisations to author all briefing material requested by the Premier's Office for media and policy events and meetings attended by the Premier or the Premier's representative.

**Your opportunity**:
As Policy Officer, Events and Policy Coordination, you will be responsible for the management and coordination of ministerial and departmental event and meeting briefing packs for the Premier, the Premier's representatives and/or the Director[1]General.

**About you**:
You will ensure a high level of attention to details in proofreading and quality assuring ministerial and departmental correspondence and briefing material and required documentation.
You will maintain positive relationships with officers from the department, Premier's office and other government and external stakeholders whilst having strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and coordinate large volumes of executive briefing materials throughout the department to ensure timely and efficient preparation of departmental responses to requests from the Premier's Office.
