We are looking for a **Bookkeeper** with Payroll knowledge, an eye for detail and a friendly demeanour This position is a part time or casual role based at our office in Carlton.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Accounts payable and receivables processinAdministration
- Data entry, coding of suppliers and bank transactions
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, chattel mortgages and loans
- Managing Debtors and Creditors for clients
- Manage client payroll and employer obligations
- Assist with the preparation of BAS and IAS returns
- Manage employee files, training, and recruitment processes
- Track revenue, expenses, and cash flow at a simple level
- Manage and pay domestic and international invoices for clients; and maintain client payment relations.
- Execute currency exchanges at optimal times

**Requirements:
- Prior bookkeeping experience
- Proficient with Xero
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Excellent organisational skills
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- Understanding of basic Media terminology (e.g. Lighting, Mixer, Set Design, XLR, Monitor, etc) OR Social Media jargon/terminology (e.g. DMs, Uploads, Posts, Analytics, Likes, Views, etc) OR Minecraft jargon/terminology (e.g. Maps, Mods, Blockbuster, Replay, etc)
