**Who you are**

As an Academic Program Support Officer, you must possess excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. This includes managing schedules, coordinating, and handling administrative duties efficiently. Effective communication is vital for the role as you will be working with students, academic staff, and industry partners on a regular basis. The primary responsibilities of these roles will be to support the preparation, organisation and allocation of students to Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunities, through collaboration with academic staff and building relationships with industry partners.

You will act as a key link to students in supporting them in their learning journey by providing professional support and advice around a range of activities including but not limited to:

- Providing support to Academic staff with the organisation of Agreements, Risk Assessments, and the development of strong relationships with Partners.
- Sourcing and allocating Work Integrated Learning opportunities for students across a range of disciplines and programs, in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Administrative support for students, academics, and partners during and after Work Integrated Learning activities, including supporting Supervisors, WIL Assessment completion via InPlace, Verification of Invoices, and the escalation of Incidents.
- Providing support and advice for WIL activities, including liaison with industry and professional experience providers for day-to-day issues, and the provision of information and support to academic staff and students.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of WIL processes and support services for all stakeholders.

**What will help you succeed?**

Your success in this role will primarily be underpinned by your commitment to providing quality client service and supporting our students and academic staff. You will be a competent administrator, capable of multi-tasking and prioritising your work to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Additionally, you will:

- show demonstrated commitment to process improvement and the ability to deliver on procedural changes;
- be able to build and enhance productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- have the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively, with stakeholders across all University divisions (academic and professional staff);
- be experienced in working as part of a collegial team, willing to share information and contribute to the betterment of the team;
- have experience and an ability to adapt in a fast paced and high volume work environment; and
- have a high level of attention to detail.
