**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist, to join our team on a 12-month contract (maternity leave), based out of the corporate office in West Perth. Travel may be required to site on a monthly basis.

Reporting to the Senior Contracts Specialist, you will be responsible for the management of contractual outcomes and processes; to ensure that the Company contractual arrangements deliver value for money; protect the Company interests and enable the Company to achieve its business objectives.

**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Comply with the Company Contract and Procurement policies and procedures and act within limits of delegated authority;
- Develop and draft Single Source Justifications where appropriate or in line with corporate policy.
- Liaise with tenderers on queries/ administration of bid process.
- Drafting of recommendations for award of contracts suitable for signoff.
- Work effectively and build rapport within and across the business to identify and work to shared goals; gains input of relevant stakeholders, communicate openly and shares relevant information.
- Ensure timely and effective preparation and evaluation of tenders, negotiation with tenderers, recommendations to internal customers and management for approvals, preparation of contract documentation, issuance of award of contracts, general commercial administration and contract management and close out of contracts;

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a contracts administration position within the resources sector.
- Experienced within the mining resources sector.
- An understanding of Contract law and general law
- Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- An academic qualification in contracts and procurement, supply chain management, business or related discipline.Pronto experience is highly regarded but not essential.
- Tertiary qualification, in any Commercial or Legal discipline.
- WA C class driver’s license
