**Title: Environmental Manager - Biosecurity (Weed & Pest Animals) Unit**

FNP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to join a leading environmental organization as a Biosecurity (Weed & Pest Animals) Unit Project Coordinator based in Southeast Queensland.

As the Biosecurity (Weed & Pest Animals) Unit Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing projects and operational requirements within the Southeast Queensland region and other projects further afield.

The position entails leading the efforts towards exceptional environment risk management strategies, involving close collaboration with various stakeholders in order to determine, carry out, and evaluate vital initiatives across multiple locations in QLD.

The responsibilities of this position are diverse and comprehensive, including but not limited to:

- Working closely with relevant stakeholders to design and implement improvement initiatives and technical programs of work
- Overseeing day-to-day environmental requirements and management system duties, ensuring adherence to regulatory and other obligations such as permits, licenses, and development consents
- Maintaining positive working relationships with environmental regulators
- Managing internal and external reporting requirements
- Supporting, guiding, and cultivating line management and on-site knowledge to promote ownership of Environment risk management
- Developing and presenting necessary reports and presentations.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience in operational management within the environmental industries, including project management skills, team management, and budgeting. You should also have excellent client engagement skills and a strong understanding of tender submissions.
- Construction Industry Safety Induction Card (White Card)
- Driver's License (manual)
- Appropriate tertiary or accreditation in an area relevant to the business unit
- Chemical Accreditation/Commercial Operators Licence (desired)
- Firearm knowledge/licence (desired)
