**About the role**

We are looking for **Specialist Heritage Approvals** to join our HSEC - Traditional Owner Engagement Team, based in our Perth CBD office. In this role, you will lead and coordinate the delivery of necessary heritage approvals for business activities. Monitor RTIO’s adherence to regulatory requirements and report this to Traditional Owner Groups and the relevant government bodies.

Reporting to the Lead - Engagement Delivery, you will:

- Coordinate heritage approvals for business activities and support cultural heritage surveys and excavations
- Coordinate and finalise external and statutory approval submissions
- Aids compliance to Cultural Heritage Management System scoping and reporting procedures
- Review heritage fieldwork reports to ensure compliance to approvals requirements
- Coordinates compliance information inputs into Heritage Information Management Sysytem
- Review and input into the approvals prioritisation plan from the integrated heritage planning schedule
- Prepare reports for Traditional Owner groups and relevant government bodies on the execution of permits or Ministerial consents under the Aboriginal Heritage Act (WA)
- Ensure systems and process are designed and delivering information required to ensure legislative compliance
- Receive, analyse and communicate all relevant legislative requirements to Traditional Owner Engagement team and other stakeholders
- Monitor adherence to Section 16 and section 18 requirements and conditions
- Provide infield investigation advice in line with the regulatory requirements
- Coordinate procedural notifications to TO corporations of lodgement preparation, submission and consent receipts

- Qualifications in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field
- Broad background working with Traditional Owners in mining & resources, consulting, not for profit, Aboriginal Corporations or contract management
- Demonstrated knowledge of Heritage legislative requirements
- Demonstrated experience in Cultural Heritage management
