**This part time position will require the successful applicant to work on Fridays from 9.30 to 2.30 pm.**

SC 1 Demonstrate the ability to undertake the planning and running of a successful Children¿s Cooking Kitchen program.

SC 2 Demonstrate capacity to work and collaborate in a team.

SC 3 Demonstrate capacity to clearly communicate with staff, students and volunteers

**Role**:
This position is for a Cooking Assistant working 1 day per week with classes timetabled on Fridays.

The Cooking Assistant will be working with Year 3 and 4 students, teachers and parent helpers.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Plan recipes that incorporate the produce grown in our Working Children¿s Garden, shop for additional cooking supplies and cook and clean with the children.

2. Liaise with the Year 3 & 4 teachers

3. Maintain a roster of parent helpers for each cooking lesson.

4. Liaise with our Cooking Kitchen Gardener in the planning of crops to be planted by the children.

5. Take lessons in our Modern Children¿s Cooking Kitchen.

6. The successful applicant will need to have cooking experience and be able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the planning and running of a successful Children¿s Cooking Kitchen program.
