We are seeking a forward-thinking experienced Operations Manager with strong communication, problem solving skills as well as excellent management experience to work with a team who are highly motivated, committed and exceptional at what they do.

**About the role**:
As the Operations Manager you will be reporting to and working closely with the General Manager, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational aspects of the Business ensuring alignment of activities and outcomes meet customer and business objectives.

A key requirement is to maintain a positive environment, have great skills in planning, communication, IT and problem-solving ensuring productivity targets are met, warehouse is efficient and manufacturing processes are running smoothly and promptly.

Responsible for servicing customer needs, driving a safe work culture, staff engagement, stock management, and creating a high-performance environment committed to safety, business improvement and service excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Facilities management: Manage, evaluate and organise any property related issues, repair of tools and equipment, liaising with cleaners and other facility affiliates,
- Compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, SWMS and internal policies,
- Insurances: Public liability, Workcover and Vehicle insurance,
- Training: Develop and implement training programs for workers to enhance their skills and knowledge,
- Travel: Organise flights, accommodation and vehicles for interstate travel,
- Marketing: Allocate sales enquiries, working with the sales team ensuring all leads are actioned,
- Business Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers driving value, growth and collaboration,
- Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency,
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the team to achieve company goals and objectives, maintaining a positive culture of teamwork, respect, trust and cooperation.

**About you**:

- Proven experience in operations, 5+ years of staff management,
- Operational expertise across all areas of inventory, warehousing and business operations,
- Ability to problem solve with experience in identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives,
- Experience and ability to learn, use and teach dedicated operational software systems,
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations and compliance,
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills,
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
