Joinery Shop Drawer

Guru projects is a leading interior design studio and joinery (madebyworkshop) and shopfitting company. We have designed and built some of the coolest venues all over Sydney. We are expanding our team and are looking for the right person to join.

We are looking for a joinery draftsperson with retail and commercial project experience to join our energetic team to create and break down builders plans and designs to workshop drawings for manufacturing and help with the procurement of materials and scheduling

You will be responsible for:

- Produce conceptual and production drawings in Mozaik from site measures, hand sketches and Architectural plans
- Process machining files for the workshop floor
- Assist in producing material/hardware purchase orders from final drawings
- Take off of materials from Architectural tender documents for estimating purposes

**Requirements**:

- Bonus experience in Mozaik drafting software or Solidworks but must have a min 4 years experience including the ability to accurately produce CNC files through Analyser/Workshop and Enroute
- Minimum 4 years experience in Joinery Drafting
- Must have a high level of English and ability for clear communication
- Ability to understand and produce highly detailed joinery plans
- Must be familiar with industry construction methods, common materials and hardware
- Joinery Trade background and experience with Biesse CNC machines definitely an advantage
- Salary is commensurate to experience and qualifications
