**Casual Positions - $34.52 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading)**

**About the role**

We are seeking casual Pool Lifeguard to join the AFAC team The primary objective of the role is to provide patrons with a high standard of care for their safety and at the same time facilitate a safe, enjoyable aquatic experience at the Armadale Fitness & Aquatic Centre.

**Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Supervision of patrons in and around the aquatic area.
- Enforcement of the RLSSWA Watch Around Water policy.
- Ensure correct bands are worn by all patrons using the aquatic facilities.
- Ensure patrons do not intrude into areas designated for Swimming Lessons or other Aquatic Programs.
- Ensuring appropriate behaviour and safety of patrons in all aquatic and surrounding areas, following centre policies for addressing any inappropriate behaviour.
- Lifeguards will be required to follow all relevant Royal Life Saving Society Australia (RLSSA) guidelines in line with AFAC’s policies and procedures.

**The Successful Applicant must have**
- Current RLSSWA Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate - HLTAID003.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - HLTAID009 or equivalent.
- Previous lifeguard experience at a public pool (desirable).
- Possession of or ability to obtain a current National Police Certificate.
