**Role Overview**:
As the Rostering & Scheduling Manager, you will play a critical role in this high-volume, time-sensitive operational environment within the Traffic Management business. This senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of workforce scheduling and roster management to ensure efficient and effective operations. You will lead a team of scheduling specialists and collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize resource allocation while maintaining a high level of service quality.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Create and manage efficient timetables and workforce schedules for operational personnel, guaranteeing adequate coverage during peak periods, emergencies, and special events.
- Supervise the allocation of human and equipment resources in real-time, taking into account current demands, priorities, and operational objectives.
- Examine historical data and operational requirements to predict staffing requirements and equipment utilisation, adjusting plans as required.
- Ensure that all scheduling and rostering practices comply with labour laws, union agreements, and other pertinent regulations.
- Lead, guide, and oversee a team of scheduling experts, cultivating a cooperative and high-achieving work environment.
- Collaborate with different departments, including operations, logistics, and HR, to synchronize schedules with business goals and maintain transparent communication channels.
- Employ scheduling and rostering software to streamline processes and adapt to evolving operational needs.
