Within our Industrial & Waste Services division (IWS) we provide total waste management business solutions to our customers in the Mining, Oil & Gas and Infrastructure sectors. These solutions include, industrial cleaning services such as non-destructive digging, concrete demolition, high pressure water blasting, vacuum loading, shutdown services, pipe, drain and tank cleaning, emergency spills response and CCTV.

We have an opportunity for a Diesel Fitter to join our Fleet Team based in Darra, QLD.

**Your new role**

In addition to having a genuine passion for your trade, you will also bring the following skills and experience to the role:

- Maintain all aspects of heavy vehicles to relevant state transport legislation and standards.
- Maintain all aspects of equipment to the OEM standards
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance services.
- Perform fault diagnostics to detect mechanical and electrical faults.
- Repair or replace defective parts on all heavy vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure all hand tools and equipment are safe to use and stored clean and correctly.

**Skills and experience**
- Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment)
- Heavy Rigid (HR) license
- Moderate experience working with Heavy Vehicles
- A professional presentation and manner with strong customer service ethic
- A strong commitment to safety and a willingness to work as part of a team
