Information Management Officer

Supporting a Local Council, this role offers a dynamic chance to contribute to effective records management. Help shape superior customer service and uphold legislative requirements.
**About the Role**
- Contribute to records management processes and tasks within an electronic record keeping system.
- Assist in maintaining records using electronic recordkeeping system (EDRMS/Content Manager).
- Support Council's records management goals and compliance with legislative requirements.
- Handle record appraisals, archiving, retrieval, and disposal according to established procedures.
- Provide information management advice and support to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Information Management team and complete assigned tasks.
**Benefits**

- 30 hours per week, Monday to Thursday.

**About You**
- Minimum Year 12 or equivalent educational qualification.
- Proven customer service experience in a client-focused environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Capacity to adapt and work effectively within a team.
- Qualification or experience in Records & Information Management is advantageous.
- Willing to undertake and maintain a current National Criminal Records Check
- Must have unlimited working rights within Australia
