**About the role**

As the Analyst within Budgeting & Reporting, you will be part of the team that is responsible for the preparation of the Corporation’s budgets and reports to Executive, Board and the State Government. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment and proactively engages stakeholders to facilitate collaboration between teams. Applicants should have experience using financial and other business systems and be proficient using Excel.

Due to the nature of the team, this role will be 3 days a week job share based in Leederville.

**Key responsibilities**
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes including monthly reporting and periodical forecasting.
- Adopting a strategic partnering approach and engaging with stakeholders, both internal and external to share knowledge, analyse issues and produce high quality submissions and reports.

**Key skills and experience**

Your ability to build and drive positive and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be important in this role.

Previous experience within a finance and accounting environment will be required in this role. You will have a strong understanding working within a large operational environment with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Ideally you will have a degree qualification preferably in commerce or business, along with a full membership of a professional accounting body (CA or CPA qualified) is desirable but not essential.

You will have excellent critical thinking and analytical skills which will enable you to address our diverse forecasting and reporting requirements.
