We have an exciting opportunity in the Clinical Applications Team for an Operational Vendor Manager.

Reporting into the Associate Director Clinical Application Services you will be part of the team responsible for the management of a portfolio of business-aligned IT services through its lifecycle. Service level management of that portfolio by maintaining and managing vendor relationships and vendor contracts. The role is the key interface for the service delivery function within eHealth including Procurement, and endeavours to increase the value realised from ICT assets, investments and capabilities. The role interacts at a senior level, representing both the Service Owner and customer interests.

**What you will do**

As an integral member of the Clinical Applications Team, you will:

- Be responsible for the entire Operational Vendor Management function, including, but not limited to organizing and managing a portfolio of IT services and contracts on behalf of service owners and customers throughout their lifecycle.
- Provide highly specialized commercial, professional and technical capability, with the ability to provide advice that is strategic in nature, whilst being focused also on efficiencies.
- Be able to negotiate, manage conflict and build long term strategic relationships internally and externally, including managing customer and service owner expectations and relationships. Key stakeholders include Procurement, Finance and CAS operational teams.
- Analyse and advise on the transition of new services and the development of service support models into normal operations.
- Produce and report on Service Delivery and Service level agreements and be able to provide authoritative advice in this area.

**About you**

The skills, knowledge and experience we are looking for in you are:
- Extensive experience and a record of achievement in Vendor, Contract and Tender Management in a large and complex service environment.- Relevant qualifications or equivalent demonstrated experience. This includes knowledge and experience across multiple ITIL v3 disciplines such as Service Strategy, Service Transition, Service Operation and Continual Service Improvement.- Highly developed interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders and customers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills including proven experience in analysing and interpreting complex information from numerous sources, preparing and presenting analysis and reports, dealing with challenges creatively and achieving business focused solutions.- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage complex design and transition issues through to resolution and successful outcome.
