Cafe and Wine Bar Supervisor

The Café operates 6 days a week with the space turning into a wine bar on weekends.

We are seeking a Café /Wine Bar Supervisor to join our team in a casual capacity to begin, with an opportunity for Part Time hours later on. The position will be responsible for providing supervision and meaningful duties to our wonderful staff and volunteers, food and beverage preparation, till operations and balancing, opening and closing the café/wine bar, customer service, processing deliveries, catering coffee making and stock control.

A big part of your role will be mentoring the staff and teaching them new skills to help them on their journey in the hospitality industry.

With the introduction of the wine bar, you will have the opportunity to help grow this part of the organisation and bring people along for the journey in learning these new skills.

An RSA and working with children check are a must (or willing to obtain) as well as being required to undergo a police check. Previous hospitality experience would be beneficial, specifically, coffee making and experience working with people who have varying abilities would be favourably looked upon. The role will work every Saturday and one weekday at this stage with capacity to pick up extra hours.
