Café Supervisor - Ratha’s Place Café

Ratha’s Place Café operates 6 days a week, Monday through to Saturday.

We are seeking either one Full Time or two Part Time or Casual Café Supervisors to join our team. The Café Supervisor will be responsible for providing supervision and meaningful duties to our incredible staff and volunteers, food and beverage preparation, till operations and balancing, opening and closing the café, customer service, processing & preparing catering orders, coffee making, rosters and stock control.

An important part of your role will be mentoring staff, communicating with them effectively and teaching them new skills to help them on their journey in the hospitality industry.

You will have the opportunity to help grow the charity through the café operations and bring people along for the journey in learning these new skills & making connections in the local community.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Current first aid certification (or willing to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Ability to adapt to change
- Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
- High energy & positive attitude
- Effective in providing exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of food safety
- Clear concise written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in hospitality sector

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Previous experience working with people with disabilities
- Previous supervision experience
- Leadership and Management Certification (Level IV or above)
- Current Food Safety Certification
- Current RSA Certification

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 38 per week

**Salary**: $53,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Staff Management: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- RSA (preferred)
- First Aid (preferred)
