This key role will see you enabling students and staff to flourish by translating their needs into best practice and efficient operational strategies through supporting and facilitating growth in awareness and collaboration across the whole School on operational matters.

As a member of the School Leadership Team, you will lead the School’s Operations Committee, and be an active member of the School’s Wellbeing, Emergency Planning and OH&S Committees, contributing to whole school improvement, innovation and development.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 5 years commencing January 2023.

**To thrive in this role, the successful incumbent must possess the following attributes**:

- Excellent leadership skills of both students and staff, including staff management, with a commitment to coaching, supporting and developing others
- Must be a qualified teacher and be able to demonstrate a suitable tertiary qualification in teaching and their methods
- Relevant and demonstrated experience in similar roles is well regarded
- Sound knowledge of how schools operate across K-12
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and positive and productive relationships
- High-level communication skills, both verbal and written
- High level planning and organisational skills
- Demonstrated experience across process review, consultation with key stakeholders and implementation
- Displays enthusiasm and initiative - has a high achievement drive and acts in a self-directed way
- Ability to work independently but also as part of a dynamic, creative and collaborative team
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with a solutions focused mindset
- Alignment with the School’s ethos, vision and values
- Willingness to be involved in all aspects of the School’s program
- Must hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
