**Bar Manager - Premium Steakhouse - Melbourne CBD**

Premium Steakhouse restaurant located in the heart of Melbourne's CBD is seeking a Bar Manager You will be working with the venue management team to create a beverage menu that complements the outstanding food on offer. The successful individual will ideally have a background in cocktail bar tending and wine knowledge with experience leading a team.

**What you bring to the role**
- Experience working in a similar fast-paced environment with at least 2 years in a Management or Supervisory position
- Superior liquor, cocktail knowledge and wine knowledge would be advantageous
- Experience with ordering and stock take, maintaining accurate stock control and ordering systems, and manage pricing and inventory
- Exceptional service skills and guest focused
- Adaptable and able to perform in high-pressured service periods
- Proven ability in building effective relationships
- Organisational and time management skills
- Exceptional communication and presentation
- Strong back of house abilities with in-depth understanding of financial control, boosting revenue and wage/ cost of goods control
- Manage and supervise daily bar operation and staff to ensure positive, safe and productive environment
- Implement and drive ongoing bar training to ensure exceptional levels of quality and consistency
- Committed to teamwork, providing direction and leadership
- Current RSA
