**About the Role**

These full time, permanent kitchenhand roles are located in Brooklyn Park within our brand-new purpose-built food production kitchen. Working with a team of dedicated chefs and apprentices you will assist in completing different bulk food production contracts, with the highest quality of products and services.

Responsibilities include:

- Clean dishes and cooking equipment
- Maintain cleanliness in all operation areas
- Assist in stock management and basic food preparation
- Comply with HACCP and WHS rules and legislation
- Follow direction from senior team members
- Work on a rotating roster between 7am and 11pm, Monday to Friday

**About You**

You will be an experienced kitchenhand who enjoys working in a bulk food production environment with a desire to work in a diverse team with different levels of experience, including a team of apprentices. You will also be an excellent communicator who is looking for a career pathway into the food industry.

Essential skills and qualities include:

- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Basic knowledge of HACCP and WHS in a food production environment
- Experience in bulk food production (highly desirable)
- Forklift licence (highly desirable)
- Strong written and verbal communication

For this role the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Bedford Phoenix Incorporated.
- A National Police Clearance (no older than six months)
- Working with Children Check
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
- Evidence of FULL vaccination with a TGA-approved COVID-19 vaccine or an acceptable exemption
