The Centre

Guardian Sunbury was designed by one of Melbourne’s leading architects who specializes in the design of early learning centres to create a modern and home like environment, filled with lots of natural light.
There are 6 learning studios, a parent’s lounge, a fully equipped commercial kitchen and large art room. From the moment you walk into our centre you will be welcomed by our friendly team in our open foyer with an accessible parents lounge so you can sit back, enjoy a complimentary coffee and feel a strong sense of comfort and belonging. Outdoor play yards include a range of mud pits, sand pits, sensory and water play stations, edible gardens and a chook run to keep the children active. A range of locally sourced and natural materials have been incorporated into the design.

The Opportunity
Working closely with your fellow Educators and Centre Manager, you will enjoy;
Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.

Developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.

Documenting and sharing with families in their children’s learning and development.

Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum.

Professional learning and development programs, career pathways, and a truly collaborative and inclusive learning environment.

**To be considered, you will have**:
A completed Certificate III and/or Diploma in Children’s Services (or working towards)

Prior experience in long day-care

Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF

Current Working with Children’s Check.
