**Why Your Role Matters**:
The Program Officer, Exchange plays a key role in the Learning Abroad team within the Experience Pillar of the Pro Vice-Chancellor Education & Student Experience Portfolio in providing practical and efficient program support for the Exchange team, students, and key stakeholders.

The successful applicant will work in a student facing role to support the inbound and outbound Exchange Programs by providing program coordination, student advising, reporting and analytical support, communication, building key internal and external relationships, and providing administrative support for key programs and projects. These activities will contribute to the advancement of Learning Abroad students and the enhancement of the broader UNSW student experience.

**Who You Are**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
- Demonstrated experience providing effective customer service and support to clients at all levels and sound stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Understanding of the opportunities and challenges tertiary students may encounter and how this role can positively contribute to enhancing those opportunities or alleviate some of the challenges.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
- Demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on initiatives with a range of people at different levels within an organisation.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, accuracy, and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
- Demonstrated experience in event/project/program coordination with an understanding of the project life cycle and development of project plans and objectives including managing logistics, promotions, communications documentation and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team, but also to take initiative and work efficiently and independently to identify, analyse and resolve administrative issues ensuring effective outcomes and process improvements.
