One of Australia’s prominent **Federal Government Departments **in Canberra is looking to engage an experienced **Technical Writer (Security / IRAP) **to join a large program of work to assist with creating and updating documentation in preparation for an IRAP Assessment. The **Technical Writer (Security / IRAP) **will be offered an **initial 6 month contract with the view to extend for a further 2 x 12 month extension options**.

The successful **Technical Writer (Security / IRAP) **will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Develop high quality security documentation including SOA, SSP, CMP and IRP.
- Support and be involved in IRAP preparations activities
- Facilitate workshops with non-technical and technical stakeholder to identify, investigate analyse, and document security processes, procedures, and work practices.

The successful **Technical Writer (Security / IRAP) **will have experience in the following:

- The writer should have experience in obtaining information from technical and non-technical stakeholders and document how it meets security control requirements.
- Previous experience preparing for IRAP assessments and/or security assessments as part of PSPF is highly desirable.
