**The Role**
The Governance and Coordination Officer will:

- Provide support, coordination, and engagement assistance for activities occurring within the Directorate of Group Governance. This will include provision of advice on coordination and business administration, and the de-conflicting of activities as required;
- Prepare agendas, consolidate and analyse information to assist in the preparation of written submissions papers for relevant committees, and draft meetings minutes and written communication;
- Engage with stakeholders and provide research and administrative support for group reporting, plans, and audits as required; and
- Perform a range of team coordination and tracking activities including triaging the Team’s planner and group inboxes, maintaining records, and responding to enquiries in a timely manner.

**About our Team**
The Directorate of Group Governance manages a range of governance functions for Joint Operations Command (JOC) including Assurance, Compliance, Performance, Risk and Security. It also manages and coordinates JOC Group responses and plans relating to both the Defence Transformation and Culture strategies.

The team sits within the Corporate Services Branch in Headquarters Joint Operations Command (HQJOC) and consists of an APS workforce that works with and alongside military personnel within a tri-service environment. Products and policies produced by the Directorate integrate with the Defence enterprise and are used within the group to inform policy across relevant branch activities.
