**About the Role**

Reporting to the Regional Director - Intensive Therapeutic Care North, you will manage a team of caseworkers, house managers, and therapeutic specialists. In this role, your days will be varied with a focus on programs, budgets, human resources, and stakeholder management. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to provide leadership to your team in the areas of focusing on client outcomes, quality, standards, social impact growth, and performance of services. Ideally, you will have prior experience working within Intensive Therapeutic Care programs.

This service is supporting young people with trauma-based behaviours in care, who also have significant disabilities. This role would also incorporate some case management. This is a permanent full-time role covering the Newcastle region and has the ability to be worked in a hybrid arrangement from the office and remotely from home.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Drive client outcomes that align with LWB values and contractual requirements
- Ensure responsible financial management of services
- Lead a therapeutic approach that provides stable and ongoing support to children and young people throughout their care journey
- Develop and support the implementation of systems and processes to drive efficiencies and embed standards
- Drive best practice service delivery in both area of responsibility and across the business
- Ensure regulatory compliance across all facets of practice and performance
- Manage the delivery of multidisciplinary client services teams and ensure the local area complies with corporate policies & processes, the Strategic Plan, business plan and the relevant statutory regulations, funding agreements and accreditation standards
- Develop and maintain local operational and administrative systems and procedures to support the effective management of programs
- Act as a senior escalation point to ensure the appropriate management and prevention of risks and issues arising in the course of service management in accordance with policies and procedures.

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary level qualifications in Human Services, Community Services or related discipline
- Significant experience in the leadership and management of multi-site, multi-disciplinary programs and services for vulnerable people
- Demonstrated experience working in Out of Home Care preferably with ITC or other residential experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing services and programs within a budget
