NSW Fair Trading is looking for an Intelligence Analyst to join our Intelligence unit within Regulatory Intelligence, Data Management and Reporting Division of NSW Fair Trading Operations.

**About the team**
The Intelligence Unit is a highly motivated and specialist team that produces complex and sensitive intelligence products to identify high risk regulatory and criminal activities. As part of NSW Fair Trading, we support investigations, prosecutions, and proactive operations to ensure that the NSW public, businesses, and communities are protected.

**Your day-to-day**
- Prepare and deliver timely, accurate and outcomes-focused intelligence products to support high-risk consumer, business, and regulatory compliance and operational activities across the organisation and external agencies.
- Collaborate with the team to develop project briefs that provide intelligence assessments and analytics aimed at informing and influencing tactical, operational, and strategic decision-making.
- Use data extraction software, available technology, and data manipulation techniques to assist in creating intelligence products.
- Contribute to building collaboration between internal and external stakeholders, particularly within regulatory agencies to achieve mutually successful operational outcomes.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of legislation relevant to the business to ensure that the provision of intelligence and analytical products are in line with legislative and regulatory requirements.

**Essential requirements**:

- It is a requirement of this role to obtain and hold baseline security clearance. For this purpose you must be an Australian Citizen.
- Satisfactory criminal record check.
