Iron Industry Gym is expanding its presence with a second CBD location opened in 2023, and we are currently seeking a dedicated Gym Manager to join our team at Iron Industry Gym CBD East. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a genuine passion for enhancing health and fitness within the local community.

Job Title: Gym Manager

**Job Type**: Full-Time

Working Hours:

- Monday to Thursday: 8 AM - 4 PM
- Friday: 8 AM - 2 PM

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 per year + superannuation

Job Location: Iron Industry Gym CBD East, 1/281-301 Pulteney St, Adelaide 5000

Reporting To: Gym Owner

As the Gym Manager, you will have a unique opportunity to shape a new club, foster a strong club culture, drive membership sales, and contribute to a positive community atmosphere. This permanent, full-time position offers substantial career progression and the chance to make a significant impact.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and create business opportunities within the local corporate sector.
- Design, promote, and oversee campaigns to achieve membership sales targets.
- Analyse key business areas, recommending solutions for growth.
- Manage, train, and develop staff, setting goals and implementing changes to boost overall performance.
- Organise and evolve fitness programs, ensuring they meet member needs and expectations.
- Motivate and support members throughout their fitness journey.
- Uphold a high standard of customer service across all employee and member interactions.
- Enhance the gym’s brand and reputation within the local community.
- Handle reception duties and maintain the cleanliness of the gym premises.
- Oversee all aspects of the gym's daily operations.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the fitness industry.
- At least 3 years of managerial experience.
- Proven background in Personal Training.
- A degree in sports management or a related field is preferred.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with excellent verbal, written, and time management abilities.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- A positive attitude and a passion for the fitness industry.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.
