**About the Position**

A wonderful opportunity awaits a highly skilled and experienced community service focused professional to oversee the ongoing development, delivery and promotion of all aspects of the Cockburn Youth Centre, including overseeing a suite of centre-based youth activities and events. Our Youth Services team values and celebrates diversity, inclusion and the positive contribution which young people make to the wider Cockburn community.

**Hours**: Full-time, with availability required to work Thursday evenings and occasional weekends for events as required.

The successful applicant will possess:

- The incumbent is expected to have a relevant degree and either experience in a similar role or have undertaken further studies (post grad) in a similar field of study.
- Previous experience working in a similar supervision position such as a community centre, youth centre or leisure centre.
- Demonstrated experience in working with and building rapport with young people, particularly with at risk young people, including those from Aboriginal backgrounds, culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, young people with disabilities and young people with mental health issues.
- Demonstrated experience in program development, implementation and evaluation.
- Ability to develop strong partnerships with external funding agencies to enhance programs and activities.

**Salary**: $103,245 to $109,636 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
