**The Team**:
The relationship between people, nature, water and climate, and also how we engineer solutions, requires the Service Futures Programs team to be integrated and collaborative. The Service Futures Program’s team’s portfolio of innovative and affordable new service programs ensures Melbourne Water has an optimised, fit for purpose suite of new asset and non-asset solutions and programs to realise opportunities for healthy waterways, bays, catchments and resilient and liveable urban spaces. The team’s growing portfolio includes program development in Integrated Water Management (IWM), large scale stormwater harvesting and infiltration for waterway health, and Reimagining Your Creek Program.

**The Role**:
Reporting to the Manager Service Programs Futures, the Urban Resilience Specialist takes a 5-10 year view, having responsibility to be a central point of technical and knowledge excellence, with adept ability to collaboratively draw together broader skills and expertise, for asset and non-asset solutions for new and emerging service solutions in resilience and regenerative practices including large scale stormwater harvesting/ infiltration, IWM and nature-based solutions.

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- Significant technical leadership, skills, experience and commercial acumen in large scale stormwater harvesting/infiltration, IWM and nature based solutions.
- Proven relationship and partnership building, negotiation communication skills in co-design, co-delivery and co-investment programs.
- Strong influencing skills, proven judgement and clear boundary setting to achieve and cut through complex issues in a relationship based and multi stakeholder environment.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Experience leading change and adoption of new standards, guidance and approaches.
- Tertiary degree in engineering or science.

You have a highly collaborative way of working with internal and external stakeholders and are personable as much as you are professional. You will be collaborative with partners as you co-design and co-deliver future programs of asset and non-asset solutions.
