Production Planner

Sealed Air Australia is looking for a motivated Production Planner to join our Supply Chain team. The Production Planner role is located at our Tullamarine Rigid Packaging site in Victoria State and reports to Planning Team Leader.

You will be taking the role with a high degree of responsibility & autonomy. In this fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for detailed scheduling of rigid plastic products and raw material purchasing.

You will work across the planning and purchasing functions, gaining essential practical experience with a view to medium term opportunities in supply chain, planning purchasing or logistics, targeting to the world class manufacturing. Why we need you?
Use your Experience in a planning scheduling role within a manufacturing environment to manage the detailed scheduling & planning for Case Ready products across the site work centers.
Communicate with Customer Service and Sales to ensure customer satisfaction
Use your supply Chain knowledge, SAP or ERP experience and high level competency in Microsoft Applications including Excel to maintain purchase requisitions.
Use your Analytically minded with attention to detail and problem solving ability to manage 3rd party raw material forecasting to lead time Manage business systems and reporting for area of responsibility.
Be driven by continuous improvement, proactive and ability to learn rapidly and participate in all Supply Chain Team safety initiatives.
Ability to interact and influence at levels above and below own role.
CPIM APICS certification preferred.
