Supervisor - Mad Mex - Sydney International Airport, Australia

Mad Mex is a vibrant and dynamic Mexican restaurant chain, renowned for its fresh and delicious cuisine. With a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience, we are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Food & Beverage Supervisor at our Sydney International Airport location.

As a Supervisor at Mad Mex, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant at Sydney International Airport. You will be responsible for leading and motivating a team to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining our high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety.

Supervising and coordinating the activities of restaurant staff during shifts.

Providing training and guidance to team members, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.

Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees.

Overseeing the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to ensure consistency and adherence to recipes and standards.

Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders for supplies as needed.

Handling customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Adhering to company policies and procedures, including cash handling and security protocols.

Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality industry, in a fast-paced environment.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members.

Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and delegate responsibilities.

A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
