**Your role**

In this role, you will have the opportunity to really make a difference, driving the delivery of a transformational program that supports our frontline workers in supporting our community in NSW.

This role is a temporary role up to 30 June 2024. Some flexibility in workplace location (NSW only) and working days may be supported. Some travel within regional NSW will be required. As a team we actively support hybrid working with the flexibility to work from home and in the office (Parramatta).

You will work as part of a team to manage our client relationships to ensure successful delivery of our transformational workplace projects.

**What you’ll do**

You will be responsible for client relationship management as it relates to allocated workplace accommodation projects including managing all engagement activities, business requirements gathering, and developing a detailed understanding of their business. You will participate in project governance; help identify risks and issues and support delivery planning and quality management. You will be a key advocate in supporting a culture of Customer Experience across all teams in Workplace Transformation.

Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, Business Engagement, our Senior Project Officer, Business Engagement is critical to the successful delivery of our multiyear program of transformational work.

Transformation can be challenging, and when it happens on top of your normal day job, it can be overwhelming. We want to make sure our clients feel well supported, heard and have trust in us to help them through those transformations. In this role you will be a key member of our Business Engagement team who act as our client relationship managers during delivery of our projects, making sure client needs remain front and centre. The Business Engagement team work closely to manage our client relationships whilst collaborating with our Program Delivery squads, and hand in hand with our Change team to make sure project delivery stays well aligned to customer needs and impacts.

The type of projects we will deliver across NSW over the next few years include workplace relocations, co-locations, refurbishments, and decommissioning, as well as agile technology implementations, workplace enhancements, and ways of working improvements. At times this also involves responding to urgent workplace initiatives following weather, safety or environmental events across NSW.

**What we’re looking for**
- Your previous experience will include both project management and customer experience or client relationship management
- You will be able to demonstrate your skills, experience and creativity in effectively managing stakeholder needs whilst balancing competing priorities
- You are confident working autonomously and as part of a team, building credible relationships, able to actively listen, understand and adjust your communication style to meet the needs of others
- You can demonstrate your ability to be highly resilient and work well under pressure
- You will be experienced in participating in project governance and working with different levels of management
- Previous experience working in government or other office accommodation projects is not essential
