**The role**:
We are seeking a talented writer with sustainability experience to join our creative and communications team. You will work alongside our brand, creative and technical experts to deliver a wide range of communications projects for our clients. With a proven track record in developing fluent and engaging copy on complex topics, you will put your skills to work on content and campaigns that promote sustainability and drive positive change.

**What you'll spend your time doing**:

- Writing long and short-form copy: Structuring, crafting, and delivering content on a wide range of sustainability issues and initiatives across different formats - from sustainability reports to engagement toolkits.
- Translating complex ideas and language: Editing and repurposing technical content to suit a range of audiences with different levels of understanding of climate and environment, modern slavery, circular economy, and more.
- Support on brand-led copy and campaigns: Work with our creative team to help clients articulate their position as sustainability leaders through authentic and distinctive ideas and executions.
- Working collaboratively: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and colleagues, and develop new opportunities to create high-quality content that harnesses the power of storytelling.

**What we're looking for**:

- **Experience**:Minimum 3 years professional experience in writing across a range of industries and clients, with examples of sustainability work in your portfolio. Previous consulting or agency experience is strongly preferred and we welcome in-house experience.
- **Strategic and creative thinking**: Ability to develop strategic and creative ideas and use these to develop powerful and authentic headlines and copy that drive positive change.
- **Analytical skills**:Proven experience working with experts to turn technical content and data into relevant proof points and insights to support compelling, evidence-based content.
- **Attention to detail**: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor tone and language to suit different brands, audiences and format
- **Maintain quality**: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, manage stakeholder expectations, and meet deadlines, while delivering high-quality work.
- **Ethical and values-driven**: Deep commitment to sustainability and ethical business practices.
- **Education**:Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing,, Design or a related field. Sustainability qualifications are a big plus.
