In October 2016, we established Glenny Kebabs in the heart of Glen Waverley. People from all parts of Victoria came to Glenny Kebabs to experience the GK culture, the owner, Asad, has created. We currently operate 4 restaurants in Melbourne's South-east and are in the process of opening THREE more locations in 2024

We are currently seeking aa Area Manager to join our growing team. The role requires you to have:

- An understanding of running a successful hospitality venue (including stock control, labour benchmark, COGs, staff training, etc.);
- Prior experience as a venue manager - minimum 2 years;
- Exceptional management skills with clear leadership capabilities (being able to communicate effectively with the team, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders;
- Complete understanding of regulatory compliance across food and beverage
- An ability to create a healthy work atmosphere and providing elite customer service whilst encouraging the team to do the same
- Good business awareness for achieving successful performance with proven experience with budgets, wage control, sales and wastage

- Staff cost budget
- Observe and control store staff productivity
- Evaluate store staff and team performance
- Day to day operations of the stores, plus long-term plans
- Ensure staff adherence to operational standards and guidelines
- Review processes
- Set COGS budget
- Assign necessary training
- Health and safety records and quality control

Tasks involved in the role include but are not limited to:

- Ensure Glenny Kebabs operates efficiently and profitably while maintaining Glenny Kebabs reputation and ethics. Leading a positive team culture and promoting an inclusive work environment;
- Lead by example, train your team and make work a place you and your team can enjoy. The venue would essentially be yours and overseen and run by you;
- Ensure the daily and weekly checklists are completed by staff for the venue;
- Oversee staff work and ensure staff are productive and work efficiently;
- Delegating tasks to staff to ensure efficiency;
- Overseeing health and safety requirements of the venue and ensuring compliance with this;
- Weekly rosters;
- Working with the Senior Management to set appropriate KPIs and leading the staff to achieving these;
- Inventory upkeep;
- Ensuring management of all equipment via liaison with Senior Management;
- Conducting regular performance reviews and communicating staff performance regularly with Senior Management;
- Handle customer complaints and refunds;
- Ensure staff abides by company policies and work with HR if any staff breaches any company policy;
