We are currently seeking a **Team Manager** to join our National team and lead a team of Claims Specialists, you will ‎‎be part of a ‎supportive team pursuing excellence in customer service.

The primary purpose of this role is to lead a team of service specialists/consultants managing the Intermediated claims for our Brokers/Platinum partners. You will be responsible for ensuring performance, service targets, while reviewing and improving team performance and developing capability through coaching.

**You'll be responsible for**
- Translate goals into clear team goals and inspire excellence to ensure positive outcomes are achieved through a collaborative and team focussed environment.
- Ensure the delivery of operational activities budget, service, and process compliance expectations.
- Actively contribute to process and service improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and profit improvements.
- Ensure the team is compliant with all regulatory, legislative, and internal compliance obligations.
- Conduct regular one on one discussions, coaching, career development pathways for team members and succession planning with guidance from the Claims Services Manager.
- Provide input into strategy and help implement new initiatives in collaboration with the Claims Services Manager.

**About you**
- Relevant people management experience with extensive experience in the General insurance business or brokerages is highly essential. A sound understanding of key drivers combined with the ability to mobilise a customer service function.
- Significant experience empowering people to realise their highest potential by recognising and developing individual and team performance and building talent pipelines to safeguard current and future organisational needs.
- Proven ability to articulate a customer centric culture and exemplify behaviours.
- Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights, and evaluate options for decision making.
- Excellent knowledge of technology, systems, processes, and Contact Centre operations.
