Cooma Challenge, established in 1954, is proud of its history in the Snowy-Monaro region supporting children, young people and adults with disabilities and, more recently, supporting older people. As we have grown over the years, we have maintained our overriding commitment to quality care and services, tailored to the needs of individuals, enabling them to live the life they choose.

We employ 80 people, including people with disability participating in supported employment, and we deliver services to more than 240 people in our local community.

**About the roles**:
We have two roles, one focussing on Aged Care support and the other focussed on SIL and Respite. In either position, you will report to the Services Manager and work closely with the CEO and other senior managers, to lead and manage service delivery teams.

These are key roles within the organisation, with a focus on working with clients for the development of care plans and, in turn, providing the leadership, guidance and support to support workers delivering services. This includes a range of supervision, rostering and administrative activities. A commitment to your own development and growth and that of your team is critical.

**About you**:
You will have:

- Considerable experience in service delivery in the disability, aged care or health industries, including some experience in team leadership or co-ordination.
- Formal qualifications in a human services field, and/or management/ leadership.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills, along with solid relationship-building skills to engage with a range of individuals including clients and their families, staff and other stakeholders.
- A strong commitment to the inclusion and empowerment of people with disabilities and the frail aged.
- Strong teamwork and self-management skills.
