- **If you have experience in Bookkeeping, Accounting Support or Accounts, and have been looking for an opportunity to join an existing new team, this is the role for you**

Ideally you will have previous experience in a range of bookkeeping duties such as, accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliation, invoice management, month end reporting, BAS and tax requirements.

**Who you will be working with?**

Our client are a Brisbane based broker with teams across asset finance, residential lending, commercial funding and property development. Our client pride themselves on staying ahead of the pack when it comes to industry changes and innovations, working collaboratively with lenders and private investors to ensure the best outcomes for their clients

- Part time role - approximately 24 hours per week spread across 3-4 days
- A wide range of duties and responsibilites
- Work from home 1 day per week after initial onboarding/probation

**Duties and Responsibilities include**:

- Work closely with an accountant, developing your skills and providing support
- Oversee the smooth operations of accounts payable and receivable
- Undertake weekly account reconciliations and review
- Manage invoices, payments and commissions calculations and payments
- Assist with BAS and end of month reconciliations and reporting
- Reviewing transactions ensuring accuracy

**We are looking for someone with**:

- Experience in Bookkeeping, Accounting Support or Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Experience with Xero preferred but not necessary
- A highly organised nature and high attention to detail
- The ability to manage a variety of tasks and prioritise accordingly
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
