**About the Role**:
In the realm of our Bookkeeping Services division, your role as a bookkeeper holds immense significance. Within our boutique practice, you’ll provide crucial financial assistance to a diverse clientele. **Core Responsibilities**:

- Recording Financial Transactions: Inputting various financial dealings, such as sales, expenses, purchases, and payments, into the accounting system or ledgers.
- Maintaining the General Ledger: Thoroughly documenting all financial activities in an orderly manner, often utilizing advanced software or manual accounting techniques.
- Reconciling Accounts: Ensuring accuracy and spotting discrepancies by reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
- Overseeing Payables and Receivables: Handling invoices, monitoring customer payments, and efficiently processing payments to suppliers and vendors.
- Expense Oversight: Categorizing and tracking business expenditures to aid budgeting and expenditure management.
- Payroll Management: Precisely calculating salaries, deductions, taxes, and wages for employees, ensuring punctual and error-free payroll processing.
- Generating Financial Reports: Crafting fundamental financial reports like income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Preserving Data Integrity: Guaranteeing the precision and comprehensiveness of financial records to facilitate dependable financial reporting and decision-making.
- Document Management: Systematically organizing and safeguarding financial documents, receipts, and other records for future reference and audit purposes.
- Adhering to Compliance: Following pertinent financial regulations, tax statutes, and reporting requisites.
- Effective Communication: Collaborating with fellow accountants, financial managers, and team members to offer timely and accurate financial insights.
- Software Proficiency: Competently using accounting software and tools to conduct bookkeeping duties with efficiency.** Qualifications**:

- Hold a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or its equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience as a bookkeeper, with a preference for prior involvement in a public accounting or boutique bookkeeping establishment.
- Familiarity with Australian bookkeeping software and tools.
- Precise attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to accurate financial recordkeeping.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
