Key Responsibilities
**How You Will Be Assessed**: We'll assess your merit for this role by looking at what you've done previously - the knowledge, skills and experience you've built, your potential for development and your personal qualities.
**We'll consider how well you**: 1. Demonstrate an ability to conduct both the field and office-based compliance activities of the role (see Key Responsibilities above) including producing well written, evidence-based decisions having regard to a statutory framework.2. Demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills as evidenced by the ability to effectively liaise with employers and employees within the private sector, deliver presentations and prepare and present detailed written submissions and reports.3. Demonstrate strong legislative interpretation skills and have a sound knowledge of contemporary issues, legislation and policies relating to labour hire and other relevant laws.4. Demonstrate well-developed analytical and legislative interpretation skills including the capacity to assess compliance risk, interrogate financial data and make recommendations for appropriate compliance strategies to address risk.5. Show proven leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to respond to and/or initiate strategies for continued improvement to business performance, and commitment to the cultural values of OIR.
