**About the Opportunity**

Permanent opportunity based in Osborne, SA supporting a well-established Accounts Payable and Receivable team. Responsible for assisting with the accurate and timely processing of payments and customer receipts for ASC Pty Ltd. This is a fast paced environment requiring strict adherence to processing and reporting timelines. Attention to detail accompanied by compliance with legislation and ASC policies is paramount to the success of the team.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage day to day **Accounts Payable** activities:

- Accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, employee related expense claims and third-party payments in accordance with payment terms
- Manage payment of suppliers in accordance with payment terms
- Deliver a high standard of customer service to ASC and suppliers
- Month end closing reports and reconciliations
- Working knowledge of AP principles, practices and regulations
- Manage day to day **Accounts Receivable** activities:

- Accurate and timely raising of customer invoices
- Receipt of payments
- Month end closing reports and reconciliations

**Skills & Experiences**
- Solid understanding of basic accounting and accounts payable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage financial records
- Accurate data entry skills
- Ability to build good relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Ability to prioritise and multitask
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Advanced MS Office skills, with high degree of confidence in MS Excel

**Eligibility**

Applicants must hold Australian Citizenship and be eligible to obtain Australian Defence Security Clearance that includes providing a current National Police Clearance Certificate if successful.
