**Materials Analyst** to join their high performing team based at our rolling stock maintenance facility in Auburn, NSW. This role will be offered on a fixed term contract to 30 June 2024 to support the Planning team.

**About your role**

The role of
**Material Analyst** is to develop and maintain plans to ensure that resources and capacities meet maintenance demands. These include analysing performance data, managing systems, monitoring progress, coordinating site movements, managing expectations of both internal and external stakeholders. The role will also support with training new schedulers and assist them in getting up to speed.
Other responsibilities will include:

- Incorporate customer demands and operational / technical requirements into robust plans to meet deliveries.
- Develop dashboards to monitor plan vs actual status of maintenance activities across the site
- Co-ordinate activities and tasks between different departments to provide clear understanding of what requirements are needed for efficient deliveries to customers
- Conduct ongoing reviews by analysing various data source to ensure the effectiveness of agreed operations plans and initiate appropriate action to ensure achievement of agreed targets and budgets

**About you**
- Knowledge and practical experience of process management
- Tertiary level or equivalent Qualifications in logistics management or engineering disciplines
- Strong statistical reporting and analysis skills
- Project management and system development skills
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Understanding of Lean Principles
- Strong SAP experience
- Awareness of the rail industry & Rail Safety Act
