**How you'll make an impact**
The Marketing team takes a strategic approach to marketing aligned to AMP's segment strategy and is responsible for the development and delivery of all marketing campaigns, collateral, customer engagement activity, data analysis, insights and digital.
As the Customer Copywriter you will craft the right communications for the relevant channel based on the needs of the business for the customer. This is an exciting in-house opportunity for a craft and customer obsessed copywriter. You must be able to understand complex financial products and translate technical and product information into easy to understand customer friendly copy. You thrive on creativity, turning complex ideas into clear, persuasive messages that resonate. You're not just writing; you're connecting, convincing, and converting. You're more than a writer; you're a strategic thinker. You can collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical concepts into user-friendly language. Build process flows to design conversational and technical solutions, that bridge the gap between technical/business requirements and customer communications.
You'll make an impact by:
- Develop customer facing copy for primarily operational communications ensuring copy is personalized, fit for channel and aligned with brand guidelines and meets business requirements relevant for AMP Enterprise, including our banking, super and wealth products.
- Gather and analysis requirements from the business specifically product, legal, IT teams and other stakeholders to take business requirements, feature releases and develop the right customer communications fit for the channels.
- Write customer lifecycle communications for digital and print ensuring best practice for each channel in line with brand TOV guidelines
- Challenge existing documents and identify opportunities to improve processes and maximise effectiveness, while also ensuring any process risks are mitigated with adequate controls
- Be able to work autonomously to ensure communications are delivered on time and run through the appropriate due diligence and approval process.
- Testing preparation and execution, establish test requirements to deliver quality assurance of the communications across channels
- Prepare test plans and test scripts with input from stakeholders and projects
- Execute test scripts during system test and UAT if required to ensure the analysis and design is correct
**What you will bring to the team**
- Experience working in a Technical Writing, Communication and/or Content Creation role with expertise in technical writing or customer support materials
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with influential presentation skills.
- Understanding of agile methodology is required
- Proficiency in SmartComms, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Optimiser (AJO), Microsoft Office Suite, Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
