**Engineering Manager**

**VGW is a fast-growing technology company and creator of market-leading online social games. With offices across Australia, USA, Canada, Malta and the Philippines we are on a mission to be the biggest gaming company in the world**

**Due to major growth we are expanding our Engineering team in Perth and currently looking for an Engineering Manager to join the team.**

**What you should know about our Engineering team**:

Our tech includes Kotlin microservices running on the JVM in Docker on AWS. We use Postgres for our databases, and Terraform for our IAC. On the frontend we use React and Typescript.

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Experience building and leading high performing teams
- Extensive knowledge of cloud-based computing (we're AWS hosted)
- Deep and broad technical skills in delivering high-transactional online systems, and a desire to stay technically hands-on
- Good understanding of software engineering fundamentals like OOP
- Empathy and the willingness to support and mentor your team and their career development
