About the role
Provide management and operational supervision for a small team of Health Practitioner, Professional and Administrative Officers to deliver regulatory and legislative compliant Clinical Research Coordination, Clinical Data Management and Quality Improvement & Patient Safety services to stakeholders and customers of Queensland Health.
About you
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following values within the context of the 'Key Accountabilities'. The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated high level of knowledge, experience and skill in the conduction of cancer registries, clinical data management, research projects, continuous quality improvement, information retrieval, and data collection within the parameters of relevant Privacy, Ethical, Regulatory, Medico-legal and other applicable guidelines.
- Experience in the use of clinical registry database or other clinical information management systems to produce meaningful information to meet the needs of various stakeholders.
- Experience in the use of Access (SQL) databases and the ability to extract data
- Ability to provide professional advice to senior managers and relevant stakeholders regarding the direction of the team, service delivery and improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to appropriately manage resources and provide clinical and research data management services of a complex nature where established principles, procedures and methods require some expansion, adaptation and modification.
- Demonstrated ability to provide basic level day-to-day management of a small team and to initiate, plan and evaluate service improvement initiatives.
