The Opportunity

**Responsibilities**:

- Ongoing management and optimisation of the BDA Military Design Organization Exposition.
- Liaise with the Authority and co-ordinate on airworthiness and aircraft environmental protection matters.
- Oversee the preparation of airworthiness certification programs
- Develop, improve and ensure effectiveness of the airworthiness Design Assurance System.
- Delegation of Office of Airworthiness functions
- Provide verification to the Head of the Military Design Organisation that all activities required to support type design or repair activities have been properly completed.

Experience/Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Aerospace engineering or other suitable engineering discipline. Must hold or be able to attain registration with the Board of Professional Engineers of Qld.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience relating to design and certification of aircraft modifications and repairs.
- Experience in the development of AS9100 and ISO9001 compliant engineering management systems is highly desirable.
