**RP Infrastructure** is a leading management consultancy providing client-side, independent, project advisory and delivery services to the transport, building, energy, resources and utilities sectors. As a result of this growth, we're on the lookout for an
**Associate Director - Transport**, to join the Queensland Advisory Project Development team. Our advisory team offers comprehensive strategic guidance to help our clients convert ideas into viable projects by making well-informed investment decisions that align with their business objectives and supporting our clients to develop projects through the pre-contract activities to prepare the project for delivery.

Our Project Development team convert projects from theory into reality by helping our clients' post-business case projects to establish all of the critical process, procedures and activities needed the prepare for delivery. We recognize that creating value during the planning, development, and procurement phases is essential for achieving the best possible project delivery results.

**About this opportunity**
In this role, the
**Associate Director - Transport **will play a crucial role in the growth of a thriving and active segment of the advisory business. They will be responsible for leading the business development, client relationships, leadership and development of professional staff, project delivery, profitability, and growth.

You could be an experienced leader in the industry, or a manager seeking your next growth opportunity into a director position. This role is ideal for a motivated individual, keen to join a high-performing team and looking to work on exciting, large-scale, and high-profile projects.

**Responsibilities include, but not limited to**:

- As an associate director, this role can encompass finding opportunities, winning contracts or projects, and then effectively overseeing the successful execution of the work.
- Lead the formulation and achievement of business development targets that contribute to the company’s planned growth and profitability.
- Lead the development of continually improving business policies, processes, and systems.
- This role is client-facing, where you'll provide unique solutions, strategic advice, and manage deliverables and targets.
- Provide leadership, resourcing, and direction on the company's bid and tender preparations and submissions.
- Attract, retain, and develop high-quality, motivated staff to create high-achieving teams.

**A little more about you**
To be a champion in this role, you will need:

- Experience in related industry positions, such as Associate Director/Senior Manager of Transport Infrastructure.
- Recent experience in management or engineering consultancy, corporate advisory, infrastructure, or within infrastructure teams.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, commerce, or similar fields.
- Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.
- Initiative and enthusiasm, with an extensive professional network that can benefit business growth.
